The Sherwood is an Attractive late Victorian town house situated just moments from the beautiful Eastbourne seafront. With the main Shopping Centre and Train Station just five minutes walk away, and Theatres just across the road this hotel is ideal for those planning to stay for holiday, leasure or business.
The Sherwood offers excellent service in relaxed comfortable surroundings, complimented by traditional English breakfasts and good home cooked dinners (May - Sept). Close to three theatres, there is no excuse not to see a performance. Take a short drive to the chalk cliffs at Beachy Head, or step outside the hotel and onto the delightful Eastbourne promenade and all it has to offer.
On Foot (from the train station):
- Head east along Terminus Road.
- Bear right at Cornfield Road.
- At the roundabout, head straight on, onto Cornfield Terrace.
- Continue onto Chiswick Place.
- Bear left to Lascelles Terrace.
