The New England is in a quiet area, looking out Eastbourne's seafront. It offers free Wi-Fi, some free parking and award-winning guest accommodation in light, modern en suite rooms. The New England was formerly known as the Hotel Pavilion. It is decorated in a light, relaxing style, inspired by the East Coast of the USA. The guest lounges have large leather sofas, original paintings by local artists and books and games. The Cape Cod dining room has sea views and offers award-winning cooked breakfasts and lighter options, including American-style muffins, bagels, brioche and croissants. The rooms have luxury bedding, flat-screen Freeview TVs and large bathrooms with power showers and baths. Some rooms have sea views and some have views of the South Downs. two rooms have outdoor terraces.
There is a car park with four spaces and free on-street parking. The New England is ideally located for the tennis tournament, airborne display and theatres. Eastbourne's marina at Sovereign Harbour, the largest man made marina in Europe, is only a 10 minute walk away.
From the A27 or A22, motorways:
- Follow signs for the Eastbourne seafront.
- Turn right at the roundabout by the Sovereign Leisure Centre and follow the road along the seafront for around 3/4 of a mile.
- The hotel is just past the Redoubt Tower and Army Tank, on the right hand side, directly opposite the Pavilion Tea Gardens.

Parking:

There is a small private car park at the rear of the hotel and plenty of unrestricted parking outside. There is also a large public car park nearby on the seafront opposite Beamsley Road.

By train:
- Trains run regularly from Eastbourne Station to Hastings (30 minutes away), Brighton (40 minutes) and London Victoria (one hour 40 minutes).

From Gatwick Airport:
- Gatwick is an hour by train on the London line.
- A local bus service and National Express operate from Terminus Road in the town centre to London Victoria coach station. There are connections to all major cities from here.

Deluxe Sea View Room

This room has a wraparound balcony and overlooks the Pavilion tea gardens. The room is decorated in a contemporary style.

Family Room

Spacious family room containing double bed and 2 single beds. Fantastic views over the sea and towards Beachy Head. A video library is available to entertain the children, if you want a night in.

Side Sea View Room

One twin room or one double room. The rooms are comfortable and spacious.

Standard Room

There are 2 double rooms with rear views to the downs, and one ground floor twin room has side sea views. The rooms are comfortable.

Family Room 2

Sleeps 3 in a double and single bed. The room has views of The Downs. A video library is available to entertain the children if you want a night-in

Suite

The suite has a small sitting room with digital flat-screen TV, fridge.<BR><BR>There is a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and the deluxe bathroom has a bath and shower.<BR><BR>There's also a small garden patio with table and chairs.<BR><BR>The suite has its own entrance on the lower ground floor.

This room is on the ground floor. There is a queen-size double bed in a large area with a door, plus an area with 2 single beds.<BR><BR>This room has 2 flat-screen digital televisions and 2 windows that have views of the sea.
