The Sheldon is a 3* AA Guest Accomodation in Eastbourne, centrally located on a quiet road just off the sea front, 100 metres from the beach. Guests can be assured that our staff are friendly and will help ensuring your stay is a pleasant one. All of our comfortably furnished rooms are en suite.
Ideal for all ages, we are a short stroll to the pier and the famous Carpet Gardens. The Bandstand is two minutes away where you can sit and enjoy the bands. Also within walking distance are the Wish Tower and Western Lawns where a variety of events take place throughout the year, including Airbourne. The Sheldon is also close to the town centre and main shopping, the theatres, Conference Centre and Devonshire Park Tennis Courts. Bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished. All are en suite with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, and equipped with a hair dryer, trouser press, and optional irons and ironing board. Our other areas are also very welcoming and comfortable - the restaurant, bar and lounge are all great places in which to relax, so guests will really feel like they are getting a break. We offer a home cooked traditional English menu with full cooked English breakfast and generous evening meals, prepared by our chef, who is happy to cater for vegetarians or those with special diets. We keep a well stocked licensed bar which is adjacent to our large, comfortable lounge.
